Bet Hadar for the Community
We invest great efforts in developing and expanding the activities of Bet Hadar for the benefit of the community, as part of our belief that we must act with social responsibility and commitment to the needs of the population. Using the resources at our disposal, we aim to impact the welfare and well-being of the community around us, which includes the elderly, families, and professionals who can find answers to their needs through counseling, support, and solutions in times of distress.
Projects in collaboration with, and for the community:
New website:
Renewal of Bet Hadar’s website to include information, counseling, and guidance that can assist the elderly, their families, and professionals in the field of geriatrics. Soon, a support forum will be opened on the site, where we can answer questions on various topics related to the elderly and their families.
Celebrating holidays with the community:
We offer elderly members of the community who have nowhere to spend the holidays to participate in holiday meals at Bet Hadar.
Opening of a synagogue:
The synagogue operates for the benefit of patients at Bet Hadar, their families, and their guests, as well as for the surrounding community, for the purpose of joint prayers, special events, and more.
Seminars for community professionals:
Seminars for professionals in the fields of medicine, rehabilitation, and various paramedical professions have been held for several years in Bet Hadar and constitute a professional service for colleagues and the community. Our teams mobilize several times a year to give lectures, at seminars, to occupational therapists and physical therapists from all over the country and to students from universities and colleges.
Employment of people with disabilities at Bet Hadar:
We give great importance to the issue of diverse employment. We believe that employing workers from diverse sectors will contribute to both Bet Hadar and the community, and therefore, we promote a project aimed at employing people who have difficulty integrating into workplaces due to their disability, and recognized as such by authorized institutions (such as the National Insurance Institute and welfare authorities) and referred to us by various associations that help them find employment.
Inter-generational Encounters at Bet Hadar:
At Bet Hadar, we initiate meetings and special activities between our elderly residents and children of various ages, aimed at providing opportunities for meaningful inter-generational encounters.
