Background
The Physical Therapy Department at Bet Hadar provides physical therapy to hospitalized patients in various departments, as well as to outpatients requiring ambulatory care services.
The primary goal of Physical Therapy is to restore patients’ ability to function independently in daily life, within the limitations of their injury, and to improve their quality of life.
The Physical Therapy Department works in full collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, understanding that the rehabilitation process requires involvement from various professionals addressing all aspects of the patient’s life and family.
The department is equipped with advanced equipment, professional and well-trained staff, and provides high-level services.
The Prosthetic Clinic at Bet Hadar provides services to patients from all health insurance providers. Patients meeting the criteria and requiring prosthetic limbs, walking aids, and medical shoes will be examined by a certified prosthetist, Mr. Erel Hershko, in order to receive a prescription.
Team
The Physical Therapy Department at Bet Hadar has a team of 22 staff members. All physical therapists have degrees and are licensed from the Ministry of Health.
The team members are skilled and professional, involved in student training, teaching in leading academic institutions, and conducting research, as well as contributing publications in leading international journals.

Additionally, the department organizes training days and workshops for Bet Hadar’s treatment staff on mobility safety of the caregiver and patient, and lectures for medical teams and caregivers from various fields.
