Dietitians

Bet Hadar’s nutrition and diet service consists of a team of five clinical dietitians:

Helena Walecki
Ortal Shmuel
Jenny Nachman
Anna Soloway
Hadas Koren

All our dietitians hold an academic degree in clinical nutrition and a license from the Ministry of Health; are members of Atid – the Israeli Dietitians Association and completed professional courses in various fields.

The dietitians have extensive experience in treating patients requiring special nutritional attention and those with complex medical conditions, chronic and acute diseases.

Each resident receives a personalized nutrition plan tailored to their medical and physical needs, as well as their personal preferences.

Bet Hadar offers professional training in clinical nutrition for graduates of nutrition programs, as part of the Ministry of Health’s professional training program.

Personalized Nutrition Plans

The dietitians are responsible for assessing the nutritional status of Bet Hadar residents and improving and maintaining their quality of life from a nutritional perspective.

Collaboration

The dietitians work closely with the medical, nursing, and paramedical teams, as well as the kitchen staff, to create a varied and balanced weekly menu that meets Ministry of Health requirements and resident preferences.

Nutritional Supplements

A wide range of specialized nutritional supplements are used, tailored to individual residents’ needs, administered orally or enterally (through feeding tubes).

The dietitians provide lectures and training to the nursing staff and kitchen team to maintain uniform standards of nutritional care.

Personal Note…

Our goal is to improve and tailor nutritional care to each resident’s individual needs, supporting them and their families in maintaining high-quality nutrition.
