Social Services

The social services at Bet Hadar include professional and skilled social workers, who operate as part of the multidisciplinary care system and are available for hospitalized patients and their families.

Our team’s goal is to accompany the patient throughout his hospitalization in order to assist him and his family in coping with their disease and its consequences, and in their efforts to adapt to the new situation. We strive to find, together with the patient, the appropriate response to ensure his existential and mental well-being in the light of the circumstances of his hospitalization, illness and disability.

A team of social workers provides a readiness to listen and a source of emotional and moral support for patients in moments of crisis. For those who need it, the social workers also serve as a link and bridge between them and their caregivers both within Bet Hadar and outside.

Who do we treat?

Each ward has a social worker who is responsible for personally accompanying and caring for each of the patients on the ward together with their family members. The patient and his family may contact the social worker or ask the treatment staff to talk to her.
